Welcome to the Clean Tech Challenge website

The CleanTech Challenge (CTC) is a student competition jointly hosted by London Business School and University College London that was launched in 2009.

We envisage a unique platform through which students will be involved in a challenge to bring innovative clean technology ideas from the concept phase to a stage in which they could realistically expect  to attract ‘Series A’ funding or be self-sustainable.

In an increasingly resource and carbon constrained world where clean technology is not just desirable, but vital, successful innovations have the opportunity to generate immense returns for businesses and society.

Sir Andrew Likierman"As Dean of London Business School, I am proud to support the 2010 CleanTech Challenge. This unique platform encourages and enables top graduate Business and Engineering students to take innovative clean technology ideas from the concept phase into viable seed funding plans. Together with University College London, London Business School welcomes you to join Europe's top students in the Challenge this spring."

Sir Andrew Likierman, Dean of London Business School.
